This CD is truely amazing. Ive loved Jarons music since the days of "Evan and Jaron", but his solo work is awesome too! He says the things that we all think in Pray for You, but the rest of the CD shows more of who he is and what he genuinly feels. Everyone can relate to at least one song or another from this cd! It is a must have! Keep up the great work Jaron!

It isn't very often that an album comes along that touches so many different strings of the heart. This one absolutely DOES!! Listening to this album is time very well spent! If you haven't gotten a copy of the album yet, you should!

I bought the album yesterday and i absolutely love it. every song on there is GREAT! all of jarons songs have a special meaning. "beautiful to me" is my favorite. this is a CD that everybody needs to buy. haven't heard an album in a long time that i LOVED so much and identified with just as much. you can connect with jaron on facebook too. he does actually comment back.

This album is an amazing follow-up to "Pray for You". If you like "Pray for You" you will love this song, b/c it gives you more of that same humor, but also more of a look inside the soul of this musician.

Songs like "That's Beautiful to Me" and "Kill Me for Loving You" are amazing and what makes you love someone and obviously "Pray for You" and "I Hope You Hit Traffic" are that feeling when it's gone and then "Petals Back on The Rose" are what...heh I can't tell you everything!

Buy it and find out!

Great Album from a Great Artist!!! I have taken this album for a test drive and it passes with flying colors....isn't the car the best place to listen to a new album! The only issue that I have with this album is that there are so many great songs that I am going to have trouble choosing my favorite!!! :) There is something for everyone on here! If you are in love, have ever been in love, lost a love or had your heart broken then this is the album for you. After all....haven't we all spent some time on the Long Road To Love!!!! ENJOY!!!!

Since I basically have no life, I spend a lot of time in the summer lying by a pool listening to music. Every summer there is one album that really embodies the whole "summer fun" mood and becomes my go-to music for the season. Last year it was The Zac Brown Band, and previous favorites have been Colbie Caillet and Corinne Bailey Rae. This year the award (so far) goes hands-down to Jaron and the Long Road to Love. The album starts off with the strongest song "Petals Back on the Rose," and then goes into another great song called "In the Meantime." Then there are a couple of nondescript album cuts that I can't recall. And one weird song about lions and crowns that will grow on you even though it sounds as if it should be in a Disney movie. The final 3 songs are all very strong, including "Pray for You" and "You're Beautiful."

Overall, this is a great musical experience. Jaron's voice is melodic and easy to sing along with. Until someone comes up with something better in the coming few weeks JARON AND THE LONG ROAD TO LOVE will be on "repeat" on my ipod.

Deliciously brilliant lyrics and unforgettable melodies are what define Getting Dressed in the Dark. Jaron and the Long Road to Love created an album that is down to earth and so relatable that if you have lived and loved, you will "get it". It's definitely an album worth listening to. This is an artist that appreciates his fans, and he does a great job of letting us know through personal interactions on his Facebook page. You will be hooked!

This CD is a not-to-be-missed collection of tunes! The clever, catchy "I Pray for You" has lyrics that just about everyone can identify with. All the songs have a great sound- you can dance to them, or just enjoy Jaron's delicious voice.
Don't be left out! This is a must have for today's country music lover !

I LOVE the song I Pray For You. The rest of the songs are ok. Nothing really stands out and makes me want to "go buy the cd". I bought the cd for the song I Pray For You and if I had heard the other songs before I bought the cd, I'm not sure that I would have bought it. They are ok but nothing spectacular in my opinion other than I Pray For You, which I think is absolutely the best!!!!

Jaron has hit the mark with this album. It is awesome. I have listened to it approximately 20 times already.
