Book Description

October 1, 1997
Getting Going presents outstanding articles addressing the start-up phase of a planned giving program. An impressive list of veteran gift planners make the case for planned giving, sharing their practical wisdom and powerful ideas. They provide guidance regarding bequests and gift annuities and offers insights on ethical matters. Articles are arranged according to subject: first, the decision to launch a program; then, the practical steps to get it up and running; and next, a good dose of down-home advice from those who work daily in the gift-planning trenches.

An excellent resource for the first-year planned giving program. Whether you are a veteran gift planner or a newcomer to the field, Getting Going in Planned Giving will serve you well. Use it for personal development, staff training, board awareness and committee enrichment.
