This is a nice book. Couldn't beat the price. (I think I paid $0.01, and three or four for shipping). I should have paid closer attention to the title: Getting To Know Your One-Year-Old is *exactly* what this book is. It isn't a parenting book, per se. It simply explains, step by step, what your child may be thinking when they act certain ways, and what might precipitate those actions. It is insightful, but not a tool to guide your parenting skills, necessarily.
