Not what I expected, but a good resource,

This review is from: Getting a Life of Your Own: A Kids Guide to Understanding & Coping With Family Alcoholism (Paperback)
I had expected that Getting a Life of Your Own would be a book written for teens and older children about living with alcoholic parents. It is, but it's designed for use in groups or for use by adults counseling children of alcoholics. I was looking for a book I could give my step-granddaughter, and the format made this not the right choice. Having said that, I found much useful information in it.
