Getting Out of Limbo- A Self Help Divorce Book for Women,
By Lambkin Walters Lavender "Marsha" (Cleveland, Ohio) - See all my reviews

As a relationship coach I find Diane Teagarden's book to be just what the doctor ordered. In her well organized chapters she has single-handedly helped women mitigate some of the collateral damage of divorce.
The simple language encourages women to exercise the same budgetary care when getting a divorce as they did when planning their wedding. This book teaches women how to avoid further victimization by effectively dealing with issues of finance to become a survivor of divorce. I highly recommend it.

We need this book!,
This review is from: Getting Out of Limbo- A Self Help Divorce Book for Women (Paperback)
I was so happy to see that someone has written a book helping women to end bad relationships. There are already so many books telling us how to revive marriages, denying what is often reality - that the marriage should not be revived. We really need books that help us to step out, choose independence, re-create our own lives in healthy patterns, and choose quality intimacy instead of longevity. This book is truly a tool for empowerment. Thank you, Diane Tegarden! Great work!

More than a book,

This is a small but packed book full of useful information, insightful thoughts and an action plan that lead to essential actions on the part of the reader.
Ms. Tergarden did a wonderful job mythologically going over every aspect of divorce allowing the user of the book to make some soul searching (and heart wrenching) choices during a time when most people are suffering the out of body feeling most of us call "being in Limbo." That time we realize nothing is moving forward, or changing, or anything, we are just there, miserable. This book will help the reader get out of that emotional roller-coaster and come out with a clear action plan whether that is to choose to stay in your marriage or get out. You will come out of reading this book feeling strong and ready to take on what you need to.

A tool to empower women,

It is a well known fact that divorce rates increased markedly during the twentieth century.
How much do we know about what we'll be faced with when making the decision that our life with our other half is no longer possible? The Feminine wisdom of the author Diane Tegarden encourage receptivity, allowing, intuition, knowledge, and inner wisdom, which are powerfully presented in her self help book about divorce. "Getting OUT of Limbo- A Self Help Divorce Book for Women" was written with the aim of helping millions of women all over the world. Based on her own experience, Diane Tegarden's work is taking you from Alpha to Omega, through the steps you'll need to know if you face such a situation. As a spiritual counselor and astrologer I find Diane Tegarden's book a wonderful tool for the feminine energy to set itself free of all boundaries and shine in the light of being free souls. Perspective and assistance,
By
This review is from: Getting Out of Limbo- A Self Help Divorce Book for Women (Paperback)
Diane Tegarden has taken written an extremely helpful guide for women who are either divorced or are contemplating divorce, perhaps the most emotional and difficult time in their life. She lifts the emotional fog from the start of Chapter 1 when she has the reader focus on finances, often a roadblock for decision-making or to successful independent living. Walking through a realistic budget can seem overwhelming, yet the reader is instructed to perform the same steps without the fear of the label.
Tegarden then returns to the emotional issues to assist in a self-assessment of the relationship or present circumstances. Like the budget, she guides the reader gently forward until her choices are apparent. I highly recommend this book as a powerful tool in a most difficult time. One can get perspective and financial planning in the same unthreatening manner.

This is a great guide book for those who are contemplating divorce!
It helps individuals and couples assess important information involved in assessing this serious step such as child custody, division of property and a myriad of other topics with the goal of ending an unhealthy marriage in the most intelligent and civil means. The worksheets are a valuable way to explore each facet of the divorce process. People can avoid a good deal of heartache by reading this little gem! Maria J. Andrade, M.F.T. & Sy Cohn, M.F.T.
