Anne Charlish is a medical and health writer and also a broadcaster. She has written numerous books including Your Natural Baby: Complementary Therapies for the First Three Months; Your Natural Pregnancy: A Guide to Complementary Therapies, and Birth-Tech: Tests and Technology in Pregnancy and Birth. She was also the 1993 joint winner of the Medical Journalists' Association Pain Relief Award for her book The Complete Arthritis Handbook.Anne is a regular contributor to magazines such as Essentials, SHE and Babies. She lives in Sussex Donald Gibb is an independent consultant obstetrician at The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth and The Portland Hospital, London. His practice ranges from high-risk pregnancy to natural birth. He regularly writes and lectures on childbirth for specialists as well as the public. He lives in London.
