Getting It Right! by Rhonda Nelson
Harlequin Blaze # 217 - November 2005
Chicks In Charge series Book 3 of 4
Ten years ago Ben Hayes broke 18-year-old, April Wilson's heart without an explanation. Now Ben's a tremendously successful photographer but he still measures every woman to April and finds them all falling short. April's come along way since Ben broke her heart; the first was to distance herself from her poisonous mother. Ben had a reputation as a legendary lover; in fact, he'd gotten himself a nickname as the "Vag**a Whisperer". So when April's libido goes into hibernation - it's been 18 months since she's been able to have an orgasm - it makes sense that she seek him out to cure whatever it is that ails her. Ben's ecstatic that April trusts him and wants his help. His plan is to seduce her, slowly build her up. And there are rules. One, when Ben calls no matter when, she's to come to him; two, discussions of family are out; and three, no underwear - and by the end of the week April will be cured. April has no doubts that Ben will succeed, but she's worried that she'll lose her heart all over again.
Now this one's more like the Rhonda Nelson's I've come to love and enjoy. The pace of this one seemed to move along and April and Ben were absolutely great characters. Perhaps it was their history that made this story more compelling. There is no doubt that these two will get together, though it's fun taking that journey with them. I liked the emotion too. The love scenes were hot and I loved the fact that they didn't jump into bed right off the bat but slowly built up to it. This one's for the keeper shelf :D

From Back Cover, May 7, 2006
This review is from: Getting It Right! (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
April Wilson has never been so frustrated in her life - literally! For the past year and a half she hasn't been able to climax during sex, and she's getting desperate. At this point, she's willing to do anything to experience The Big "O" again. Anything!
Photographer Ben Hayes is just the man April needs. From all accounts, April's first love is now a legend in the bedroom, a true artist in all the right ways. If anybody can fix her, April knows Ben can.
It was supposed to be simple. After a short, mutually satisfying fling, April planned to walk away, cured. Only, walking away isn't so easy. Especially since sex with Ben turns out to be so much more than just playing doctor....
[3rd in the Chicks in Charge series]
