Through the wit and wisdom of each short story in Getting It Right This Time by Dr. Delia Sellers, I can now identify the "ITS" in my life and better understand how to deal with them once and for all. This amazing book has inspired me to get my own life story right this time. Dr. Sellers unique teaching/sharing style has touched my heart on many profound levels for which I am grateful. These stories represent something authentic and loving that is found in the relationships we all experience. I know that I was ready to get it right this time. And, after all, this is my only time to get it right. Thanks to the insight and inspiration found in this book, now I am going to write some new chapters to the story of my life.

"Getting It Right This Time" was one of the most heart warming yet informative books I've ever read. I feel this book will help anyone who wants to better their life in positive directions. It is a great gift to give to someone you really care about.

In this heartwarming, inspirational collection of stories, readers will find insights they can apply to their own lives. Delia's stories about forgiveness, patience, love, joy, and personal transformation (to mention a few) will inspire them to look at situations in their own lives and create positive change. It's the kind of book you can pick up and open at any chapter and find inspiration and guidance. A couple of my favorites are "Seventy Times Seven" and "Don't Dig Up the Carrots." I also loved the poems by William Arthur Ward which followed each chapter. This is a highly readable, highly relevant book which will be cherished by each reader for the gifts it gives!

This is a heartwarming book filled with life's real experiences. Many helpful ideas on how to improve one's life while making the world a better place to live in. I have been fortunate in having an opportunity to work with Dr. Sellers and have learned a lot from her about "getting it right this time". A book that will give you a lift and touch your heart at the same time.

After being discharged from my job of almost twenty years I felt lost. I turned to self-help books, all generally preaching at you. After reading Dr. Sellers "Getting it Right This Time" that was my pivotal moment in my life. Her warm amusing stories taught me the most important things in life. Love, Courage and Forgiveness. Now I'm back at school earning my Medical Degree. I highly recommend Dr. Sellers book, to say that this book was inspirational is simply an understatement.

I was attracted to the title and found the book full of inspiring and amusing stories.

I have read numerous books of this nature over the past 15 years and I must say this is one of the most inspirational books I have ever read. The author kept it simple without all the heaviness of many other books I've read that caused me to stop reading them. I never felt as if I was being preached to. I felt that every chapter had something personal to say just to me and uplifted my spirits while giving me hope for my future. I have already recommended this book to many of my friends. I want to share with them the love, warmth and guidence this book exudes.

Touching and profound. The humor was bright, the sadness deep - but through it all, Dr. Sellers brings the lessons home and provides the blueprint to "get it right this time."

An excellent book filled with the real life stories of real people. Each chapter is an inspiration in itself. It can be read straight through, or select a chapter at random to be inspired by. Delia Sellers writes in a masterful, inspiring and affirmative way. I highly recommend this book!
