This review is from: Getting Started With the Texas Ti-99/4A (Paperback)
I am the author. The TI99/4A was built to military standards and there are still lots of them in working order so this book remains valid if you find one at a charity sale. There are also several emulators which enable you to pretend your PC is a TI99/4A, again this book is valid for you. Note- the latest incarnations of Windows software is unkind to emulators and you may need to find an old DOS floppy to boot with.
It is probably harder to find the book than a working TI... the book will take you through the essentials of writing programs in TI Basic with working programs. |
