This review is from: 22 Piece Civil War Gettysburg General Robert E Lee Headquarters Plastic Army Men Playset with 54mm 1/32nd Union and Confederate Soldier Figures, Building, Cannon, and More! (Toy)
Here's a nice set "Authentic Gettysburg Action Figures" to start your Civil War battle recreations. The set is from "Americana Souvenirs and Gifts" (model 98532).
I do not know how the count is "22 Pieces" as there appears to be much more in this set. You get two complete houses that will serve well as army headquarters. One molded in white clapboard and gray tile roof has a nice porch and many windows to shoot from. The other in brown stone and gray tile roof is plainer, but larger, and will hold many troops. The houses pieces have molded dowels and receiver holes, but some of these will take some forcing to get the pieces to mate. The pieces are a little warped, but the flexible plastic will easily bend to get into position.
The troops have a nice selection. There are 10 Union and 10 Confederate troops in at least 6 poses each. Each side has a mounted officer, a standing officer, a flag bearer, and riflers. The troops model the armies well, with many Union troops with backpack and kepi cap, and many Confederate troops with blanket rolls. The figures measure almost exactly 54 mm from soles to top of head. The sculpts are pretty lively for plastic toy soldiers. However the mold quality is pretty poor - lots of mold lines and excess flash plastic and sprue marks. Additionally there are 2 "Napoleon" cannons with ammo trailers.
This set definitely makes a nice matched army set. You have good house objectives and varying unit types and weapons to make a nice battle field recreation.
