I have to say that the Black Iced Coffee is wonderful! A very large cup filled with ice and it comes out perfect. If you like your coffee strong it's actually pretty good drinking it hot.

How could it be? Iced coffee from my Tassimo Machine? No way. I was amazed at how good this coffee was, on ice! Pretty easy to make good iced coffee. Get a 16 - 18 oz. mug or glass, fill to top with ice, put the T-Disc in the coffee maker, and you know the rest. I used a 16 oz (or pint glass), filled to top with ice, let the Tassimo do its thing, removed the glass from the machine, added creamer and had a sip...... It was delicious ice cold full flavored coffee, and still with plenty of ice in the glass to keep it cold. I was shocked. I guess the Tassimo Machine knew not to pump out boiling hot water?? Anyway, these Gevalia coffee T-Discs are great and will save you money. An iced coffee at the local coffee shop near me is about two bucks for twenty ounces and I have to wait in line! These T-Discs are awesome!

When I purchased this item I wasn't sure if I would regret it or not, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I was worried that it would taste watered-down due to brewing over ice or that I would not like the quality of the Gevalia coffee as I had not tried any of their selections yet in my Tassimo.

I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee is not watered down after brewing over ice and the taste is very smooth (not bitter at all like many iced coffees are). Personally, I like to add a little flavored creamer after brewing, but will also drink it black because it is so smooth. My sister-in-law has also tried this at our house and we both agree that we like this iced coffee even better than those purchased at the coffee shops. I would definitely recommend this to others who enjoy iced coffee.

Just on a side note, I purchased the Black Iced Coffee version and not this version:Gevalia Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee, 16-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers (Pack of 2) because I figured I can always add whatever flavor or type of creamer I would like that day (so I can control the taste as well as the calories), plus this makes it much more economical as you get 16 discs of coffee in one pack instead of 8 discs of coffee and 8 discs of creamer.

This is great coffee. You make it in a glass of ice and it's great. Tastes wonderful. And so convenient with the Tassimo system.

I tried the cream and sugar version but prefer this. I can control how much I add and like that much better.

If you like iced coffee try this. By the way I tried to brew some of the hot coffees over ice and it doesn't work or taste as good. So, try this since it is made for brewing over ice.

Follow the instructions on the packaging and you get a 14-16oz black iced coffee. It tastes a little stronger than the other Gevalia T-Discs. I just have to remember to get liquid creamer since powdered doesn't dissolve in cold liquid. I know Amazon also carries the Gevalia Iced Coffee with creamer, but I'd rather add it myself to taste.

As for the review complaining about amount of liquid - the whole idea is to use the melting ice during the brew process to help fill up the mug. It's the same way Dunkin Donuts makes their iced coffee: Dump ice in the cup and fill it with double strengh DD coffee & creamer mix. If you want more coffee/creamer mix for your money of course you can try asking for an iced coffee without ice - when I did it I confused the DD cashier.

I have not tried other Gevalia discs, but I like this very much. To make iced coffee, the coffee has to be stronger, and this disc is perfect. The coffee is strong enough that you can add ice without it getting a watered down taste. I add a little creamer to this because I like flavors. This is so yummy on a hot summer day!

I should buy this by the case it is sooooo good. I use it all year round. And so easy.

I LOOOOVE this iced coffee! So easy to make and really is as good as a coffee house! I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

With summer and hot days on the way this is the coffee you want to buy!! I would frequently go to Dunkin Donuts or a place in my town called Rockin' Joes just to get their delicious Dark Roast, Iced Coffee. I never thought I would find a product that I could make at home that was comparable, but Gevalia's Black Iced Coffee does the trick. I put a little ice, a little sweetner, cream or milk in a large glass, press the button on my Tassimo and in a minute I have my iced coffee. I actually do stand the glass in the freezer for a few minutes so the coffee cools and than I add extra ice. I do this to avoid having the ice melt which does happen when the Tassimo is brewing the product. I don't like to dilute the great taste by having it watered down and while the Tassimo does not brew the water as steaming hot as with other products it is still hot water that goes into the glass. I have only one wish and that is that the T-Disc for this coffee was larger similar to the size of the T-Disc for a particular Starbucks brand T-Disc that I also like. I would pay more for it. This is a product that I will definitely be purchasing a lot of!!!
