Designed to work exclusively with the Tassimo coffeemaker, Tassimo discs (T-Discs) contain a precisely measured amount of coffee, tea, chocolate, or concentrated milk, and are sealed to protect the flavors inside. T-Discs allow for making a favorite hot beverage at the touch of a button with no measuring, no fuss, and virtually no cleanup. Once a T-Disc is inserted, the machine reads the bar code printed on the label. It then automatically calculates the amount of water needed, brewing time, and temperature to prepare the perfect beverage. For added convenience, all the brewing happens inside the T-Disc using a unique inverse flow. Beverages pour directly from the T-Disc into the cup so different drinks can be prepared one after the other.

I like a latte that is heavy on milk and light on espresso. This one is like that. It is unusually good drink!

The latte package comes with 10 espresso T-Discs and 10 latte creamer T-Discs. You run an espresso disc than the creamer disc and it is done.

The ingredients indicate sugar but this isn't coffee with sugar. There is less sugar than you can taste. The ingredients also list salt and of course it isn't salty. They are in there for food engineering purposes.

We've discovered that you can run the espresso discs multiple times. You get a decent weaker-than average espresso shot the first two times. The third time os more like normal coffee. They are too weak for anything but ice coffee after that. This is "off-label" use, but it is less wasteful and it works. You can easily beef up the strength of the latte by running the espresso for it twice.

I love the machine, but I do have to say that while the coffees and hot chocolate have been perfect, the latte misses the mark. You just can't get a perfect latte or capuccino without steaming the milk, and while the milk t-disk comes from real milk, it is essentially an evaported milk product, with a few additives, and it has that semi-artificial taste to it. That having been said, this is such a quick and convenient product, if you are willing to skimp a bit on quality in exchange for a quick late with little-to-no cleanup, this is perfect for you. However, I'll be sticking with the crema, coffee and hot chocolate.

These is a very good Latte drink. Again, Gevalia has produced a top drawer product. I have come to expect very flavorful and great quality from Gevalia, this product delivers. Further, I have tried all the Gevalia T-disk products and found them all to be superior. The Latte drink requires you first make the espresso using the espresso T-disk, then you replace the espresso T-disk with the enclosed milk T-disk, and also make it, by again cycling your Tassimo. I run both into the same cup. This makes a full cup so you'll want to use a good size cup to start, at least an 8 oz. Both the milk and espresso T-disks are packed together. I hope the milk disks eventually become available separately, as they would enhance other T-disk beverages. Be advised that this drink is not sweet, you'll need to add your sweetener just as you would if you ordered a Latte in a fine restaurant.
