This game is very fun if you like a game filled with imaginitive and very colorful gameplay. I, like others I'm sure, go for games that show good graphics and reviews on the cover or box. I bought GEX used and am so glad I did. THis is a fun game for all ages. It is not too difficult for those newly into gaming and not too easy for those veterans out there. This may be a very old game, but I just got a playstation a few weeks ago. I am 23 years old and love the side-scrolling 2D games that are somewhat rare in today's 64Meg 3D evironments. I grew up with old NES games like the castlevania series. By the way, Symphony of the night rocks too. If you like to play for fun check out this title. I will be looking at the more recent GEX releases you can be sure.

For my birthday I got all three gex games. I got gex which is this game, Gex: Enter the gecko, and Gex3: Deep cover gecko. I decided to play this game first. And I loved it, this game might be old but it is fun and interesting. Well, not as fun as Gex: Enter the gecko. Oh yeah and also this game is not a 3D game like Gex2 and 3, it is a side scrolling game. For now I only went up to the cartoon world. This game is about a gecko named gex and he has been sucked into the media dimension. Rez a robot that is in the media dimension decided to suck gex in his own t.v. What u have to do is u have to kill t.v. by collecting all the remotes in the game. And also while u play this game u will hear funny one-liners from gex, some of them have bad words in it, but thats ok. I have a five year old brother and even he loves this game. This game is good for the whole family. If u buy and play this game u will see what I mean. Oh yeah and if u have time go buy Gex: Enter the gecko it is a very cool and fun game as well.

Gex is an entertaining mix of classic side-scrolling and modern language, as well as virtual movement options; the gecko has the ability to walk on background walls.

Heck yes, I love this game. The only con is that Gex won't shut the **** up while you're playing!!

Gex Enter the Gecko and Gex 3 are much better games then the original Gex. The Original Gex had good ideas, but as with most new heroes first titles they tend to lack a little bit of everything. Gex is a 3 out of 5 stars game at best, but if your looking for some Gecko action then pass the first game and play the 2nd two games which are better in just about every way.

First of all GEX is an awesome game but it came out in 1995 by Crystal Dynamics but its one of my top five playstation favorite games though.Buy this title if my review helped you goodbye.
