One of the finest No Limit CD's yet.,

I used to listen to No Limit all the time, they were running the rap game. But after long No Limit started producing records that weren't worth a dollar and I started to get skeptikal of their production. But on the other hand I've been listening to Mystikal since before he signed with No Limit. Personally I think his 2 albums before he signed with NL were better, but the cd doesn't dissapoint anyway, especially for a NL cd. Anyways, pretty much every track on this cd is tight. Not too many fillers just to take up space. My personal favorites are "Round Out The Tank", "I'm On Fire", "Whatcha Want Whatcha Need", "Keep It Hype", "Respect My Mind", "Let's Do It", and "What's Your Alias?". The only songs that are just TERRIBLE are "Life Ain't Cool" and "Stack Yo Chips" ( P ya ain't got that fire no more homie, go home). The rest of the tracks are solid tho. The Thing I really like about this cd is that it doesn't get old quickly. I bought it in December of 98 and last week I listened to it some more and it still got me hype. This cd is definately worth your money, in my view. If you're a fan of Mystikal or NL, you'll love it, but if you don't like 'em I bet you'll still like this cd. Even people who don't like rap should still like Mystikal's raw bust-yo-head military sqradron style. Support the REAL colonel of the tank, and buy this cd.

Best artists of all time,

Mystikal is the tighest of all time. All of his CD's are tight and if you didn't know there are four of them. Mystikal rap is in the league of the best rapper of all time with Tupac. No one will ever beat his style. Because "People that don't even listen to rap still by my tapes". He also has the tighest song and tighest beat of all time on the Mind of the Mystikal album, the song is "Here I Go". This song and beat can get anyone off there feat. If you don't believe me buy it and find out. Cause "That's the Rapper" "Respect My Mind" and I'm "Unpredictable" "Beware" because "I'm" the one that can't be stopped.

Mystikal delivers fantastic songs with this one. You have just got to love his vocals and lyrics he brings to the table. The album starts off well with it's intro and from there on out you stay hooked on it.
The only problem I had with it was, it can give you a headache. But be sure when your mad, just pop this in a walkmen and be on your way. :)

Da Best No Limit CD,
By TripcydeC70 (Kennesaw, Georgia USA) - See all my reviews

This CD is the best No Limit CD that I have heard. All the songs on this CD are completely tight. There is no soft stuff here, its all hardcore. The song "I Smell Smoke" is the only one that has soft beats, but he makes up for that with his fierce lyrics. Get this CD if you are a No Limit fan.

This album here is a most buy,the whole album is jammin the song on here that I cut for the most is "That's The Nigga" which is basically saying that Mystikal is the man and after listening to this album I agree. You should go out and get this album if you don't already have it which I doubt.

seminal recording,

on Ghetto Fabulous, Mystikal has created an amazing atmosphere of beats and vibes that make one can't help but to get down and shake his or her booty. The rhythms and beats that Mr Mystikal has used are deft and well, def. The knock on the whole No Limit posse has always been due to their excess and focus on the surface but here there is no excess pomp and braggadoccio; Mystikal has constructed tracks with clever samples and funk melodies that harken back to 70s blaxpoitation and P-Funk. The G-funk sensibilities of Mr Mystikal never subsume his obvious homages to his 70s forbears. To any discriminating fan of hip-hop and r n' b, Mr Mystikal has perhaps created the "Blood on the Tracks" of his generation with his "Ghetto Fabulous" CD . These tracks are tautly produced, performed with verve and poise, and above all, tight. This possibly ranks up there with Loveless by My Bloody Valentine, Emperor Tomato Ketchup by Stereolab, and Painful by Yo La Tengo as one of the most seamlessly groovey and soulful aural experiences of all time.

Weakest Mystikal Ever,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ghetto Fabulous (Audio CD)
I LOVE MYSTIKAL! Put him on anybody else's song and he will set it on FIRE! Unfortunately, he let me down with his third solo project. His debut cd "Mind of Mystikal" is his best due to his phenomenal rhyme skills and the supertight production by Precise. There are a few good songs on this cd, but only a few. I hope No Limit Records starts putting more time into their artists. How come Mystikal only had one single from this cd if it is so good like everbody says? Think about it!
