I buy this product often but as a single option at 10oz for $12.99 this is totally overpriced. If they bundle into a package and get this down to roughly $5.99/can then it rivals the Ghiradelli shop online site. We use this to make homemade mocha coffees with our Cuisinart burr grinder. That combo plus a few syrups has saved us a fortune - but avoid this overpriced option from Amazon.

Amazon? Really? $12.99? Is that a joke? I just bought this same exact item at Whole Foods for $4.99.

I was looking for a nice cocoa to buy from Amazon but I can get this exact same item at my already-overpriced local health food shop for $4.79. The suggested retail price on the one I bought at the store says $5.99 so all I can assume is that Amazon simply has the price wrong on this item. How could it possibly be over $12? Maybe they could send three for that price.

This is the best and we love it but don't buy it here. $12.55?! Even at our highest priced Supermarket it $5.29 and our lowest priced market has it for $4.29.

I have used this product for a few years now. It really does make a much richer tasting cocoa or icing. Would recommend it highly.

Now you can have the Mercedes of the chocolate world to flavor your creations at home! I LOVE this stuff. I even make my own chocolate syrup with it! You won't be sorry!

I have used Hershey for flavor which has been fine but I will keep searching for the perfect chocolate.
Ghirardelli is dutched and a beautiful reddish color. It is very bland and has very little cocoa flavor.I expected
much more from them. I used to spend many afternoons at Ghirardelli Square drooling over their chocolate candy and
it is superb. But, this cocoa is way overpriced and I had to use several teaspoons just to make a good cup of cocoa.
Save your money and get cocoa from your supermarket for baking and drinking. This Ghirardelli cocoa would be good as
a decorative cocoa on top of cakes, pears,cookies, pies or other dessert.

I love the Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa. It is by far the best quality. Even the smell is better than Hershey's. I used it to flavor my diet puddings and shakes and it gives a dense, rich flavor that makes it taste awesome.

I can no longer find this cocoa at any of my local grocery stores! Mine only carry the sweetened version of this brand, which is of lower quality, in my opinion--it's primarily sugar and I prefer to sweeten things on my own. There are better (read: more expensive) cocoas out there, but if you want a great cup of homemade hot chocolate, or dark, rich, chocolate cupcakes, you can't loose.
