5.0 out of 5 stars Creamy Chocolatey Yumminess, July 13, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ghirardelli Chocolate Luxe Milk Squares, Milk Chocolate, 5.25-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
These squares are melt in your mouth, smooth, creamy, and delicious! I use them to make my Walnut Brownies in the Baker's Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan. I melt half a bag of these squares along with 4 ounces of walnuts. I put them on top of my brownies while they're hot from the oven.

Warning: You won't be able to eat just one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Chocolate Milk, June 26, 2010

This review is from: Ghirardelli Chocolate Luxe Milk Squares, Milk Chocolate, 5.25-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I found the right mix of real chocolates and powders for Chocolate Milk that I like. I take one Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate square and two Ghirardelli's 60% cocoa squares and mix it with two tablespoons of Ghirardelli's Double Chocolate powder. I bought the chocolate squares by the bag for 3.49 and free shipping after 60.00 from Amazon.
It adds up to be quite a bit less than other chocolates if bought in bulk to get free shipping. This is about $1.00 per cup for the squares and a little bit more for the powder. As I was paying close to 20.00 a pound for good quality sipping chocolate it is a lot cheaper(less than half) and has a slightly sweet dark chocolate flavor. I like it and the price is right.
I did like some of the others, for example the Colombian shredded chocolate, but found it expensive. So now I pour me a hot cup nightly after dinner and top it with NO2 whip cream and I don't have to starve the poor goldfish so I can buy my chocolate. Its a pleasure I allow myself in my middle age.
