I was recently in contact with the author, Alice Alfonsi, who writes under the pen names of Alice Kimberly and Cleo Coyle(with her husband). And basically, they're just so busy with all their projects. She did tell me that The Ghost and the Bogus Bestseller will be coming out, hopefully soon. And it looks that it will be under her Cleo Coyle pen name. I suggest that you go to her website [...] for more and continuing info on all her books and impending publications. It is extremely informative and extensive and a fun website too.

This book has been promised for a couple of years. Still publication has not occurred.
Reviews here seem pretty generic. Has anyone actually read this book? Will it EVER be published?

I do believe if the team of Cleo Coyle has lost all interest in these characters and story line they absolutely should not write any more of them. Write what interest and delights you, absolutely. However, to mislead your public by soon, early next year, next month, etc., is irresponsible to your followers. I am not sure if I will read this whenever if ever this book is published. And, I do not believe I will buy/read any more of the coffee shop mysteries either. I notice they are still coming out on a regular schedule.

Been waiting for years now. Don't think this book has a ghost of a chance of ever being published. Too bad. The series was one of my favorites.

Actually I don't hate it. Pretty hard to hate something you haven't read...and it hasn't been read because it still hasn't been published. Five years is too long between one book and the next in a series. So very sorry that all your much more important projects had kept you from writing (or finishing) this book. It is not fair to fans of the series to keep a book in a series in limbo. Obviously, the author (and her co-author husband) are much more interested in and enthused about the Coffee House series than the Haunted Bookshop series. If you don't want to write them, just give the series a decent ending, let the fans know you are killing the series by crossing Jack over and stop making promises you aren't going to keep.

Can't understand why it is 5 years and still no Book 6 in the series. It was one of my favorite cozy mysteries. Now I think I am losing interest, 5 years is too long to wait. What could possibly be the problem to delay this book for so long?

Can't read it so I can't hate it but I have certainly lost all respect for the authors.
