4.0 out of 5 stars great country punk, August 2, 2005
By
This review is from: Ghost of Bonnie Parker (Audio CD)
Slick 57 are a Dallas based outfit who write catchy country rock songs or what one might label alternative country. This plays like a combination of Hank Williams and Greenday and that is indeed a good thing. The songs tale stories of drinking, leaving, cheating, heartache and break. It all starts with "Cheating side of town" and only gets better from there. At first, this album didn't appeal to me but it gets better with repeated listens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Damn Shame These Guys Disbanded, August 24, 2007
This review is from: Ghost of Bonnie Parker (Audio CD)
This is the best CD I have bought in years. It is a rock/punk/country sound that is nothing but great. The best part of the CD is that as I listen to it, my "favorite" track changes. Started with "Nervous Wreck", then "I won't beg", and now "Hemenway"
