This is one of NMA's best albums. It's passionate. You can't pigeon hole this one into being punky or alternative. It's not mindless music either. You can certainly listen to it and enjoy the harmonica riffs in "poison Street" or the intricate drumwork in "lovesongs" but the band does tackle social ills and vigilantism in "the hunt" and like in a lot of their other albums generational differences as in "heroes". It's rawer than the album "Thunder and Consolation."
