3.0 out of 5 stars Okay ghost story
Harry and Alex arrive at camp Spirit Moon, where the other campers play jokes on them and try to scare them. But the jokes turn scary when a girl sticks her arm into the camp fire and a boy put a fork through his neck.

It's an okay read. I had sort of expected more but it's not bad.

R.L.Stine made just 1 problem in the ending but this still is one of the best goosebumps i have ever read.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Goosebumps Book, April 13, 2009
This Book is about these 2 kids, Harry and Alex. Alex's voice is so good that he was supposed to go to music camp for the summer, but because their parents enrolled them both so late in the summer, the only camp that was available was Camp Spirit Moon

The old campers love playing pranks on the new campers. Harry meets a girl named Lucy. But During the campfire, Harry's hot dog falls off the stick into the fire and Lucy reaches her hand into the flames to retrieve it.

Then a they meet guy named Sam. Sam gives himself a critical wound by piercing a metal tent-pole through his foot, pinning it to the ground.

Then Some more creepy things start happening. What's Going on?

This is,without a doubt The Best Goosebumps book ever. The closest a Goosebumps book has come to being scary. The novel is atmospheric, darkly comic, and ingenious-- three descriptors rarely lobbed at this series.

I give 5 Stars

4.0 out of 5 stars Ghost Camp By: R.L.Stine, August 27, 2006
A Kid's Review
The book Ghost Camp has some mysterious parts. In the book a boy named Harry goes to camp with his brother Alex. The camp is called Camp Spirit Moon.At the camp there are very weird rituals that they have to do there. The campers make fun of Alex and Harry. Some of there jokes are harsh.Harry and Alex got suspicious of the leader of the camp. You will be surpised how this book ends.Out of all of my books this book is one of the best books I ever read. I recommend this book to younger kids that never read R.L.Stine's book's.

This neat book takes place in a camp. But, after these guys figure out that the campers are ghosts, they are really scared. Once again, Stine does it again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ghost Camp, July 3, 2003
A Kid's Review
Would you like to go to a camp that is so creapy ?Well a boy named Alex and his brother Harry went to camp Spirit moon .They saw a lot of weird things like kids sticking poles through their foots ,and kids swiming underwater for a long time .Alexs brother Harry never can wait to get off the car but when he rode the bus he got boared because he and his brother were the only passengers and it was very creapy .
I think ghosts are creapy because they haunt us and scare us a lot .I think that nobody likes ghosts and ghosts dont like us because we are scared of them ,and dont like them .
I recomend this book to people who like Goosebump books .I couldnt put this book down because Ithink that I was one of the charactors.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Middle School Student's Perspective, January 11, 2012
A book review of Ghost Camp
By Kyaw Kyaw, Grade 7, Yangon International School

Harry and Alex sign up for Moon Spirit Camp, a camp with many weird traditions and weird jokes. What seem to be jokes, though, become serious. Sliding a hand into the fire--it is a joke right? Or, isn't it? The Ghost Camp, one of the books R. L. Stine's Goosebumps series show realistic but ghostly jokes.

Moon Spirit Camp was the only camp still accepting enrolment for summer when Harry and Alex returned from vacation. As a result, they must sign up for this camp. Unfortunately, enrolling is a big mistake. They experience the scariest jokes, which increasingly become more threatening. It even seems hard to imagine. Will these two escape the camp. . .a camp no one has ever escaped?

This book is one of the scariest books I have read in the Goosebump series. The jokes were not that scary at the beginning, but they were really scary by the end. This book made me want to read others in the Goosebump series, but I have not found other books that match the quality of this book. The whole camp is against Harry and Alex as they struggle to return home? The idea of this book is to scare the protagonists. The more they are scared, the better the book becomes. Everything seems more normal until the resolution, the most dynamic section of the book.

For all Goosebump fans, this is the best book in the series. Readers age eight and above may enjoy this book. On a scale of 1 (low) to five (high), I give this book a five because I could not put it down until the end.

I really enjoyed the story of Ghost Camp. I loved the idea and it was executed well. I think this is one of the Goosebumps books that is actually scary in certain parts. I liked the main characters, and the ending was pretty awesome. I would recommend this book to any Goosebumps fan.
