Not only woulde this story be frightening for children (its a forth level book)but it also was a little scary for me! One reason is probably because I read it just before I went to bed for the night, another because it really left you in suspense until the very last couple chapters of the story. I believe this is a good book for older children because it had some very climatic parts that would keep them really interested. Personally, I enjoyed the book because I like a little scare every once in a while. It was very easy and fun to read as well.

This book is great. It is about a boy who goes to a cabin over the summer with his dad and his aunt.His friend says that spooky acres was haunted because this guy Tim Tapper died and he never left .So one day he invited his friend over and they went swimming and then they heard a boat and then the boy really and that night he saw Tim Tapper's white face staring back at him. Then at like at the end of the book the boy and his friend found an old truck and then he tells his dad and they fix up the truck up and they put it in a park so that little kids could play in it at the park.I would reccommend you read this book,because it is really good and if you like scary books then you would like this book just like I did.
