5.0 out of 5 stars great information and experiences in SF June 7, 2011
Format:Paperback
Ever wonder about feelings, sensations, visions you've experienced in old buildings? Well, the new book Ghost Detectives' Guide to Haunted San Francisco will answer your questions. Annette Martin and Loyd Auerbach have written this interesting and informative book, the first in a series. It is well written and compiled, including actual transcripts of conversations with spirits, the authors' impressions and feelings, things visualized and sensed in several edifices in San Francisco. It holds one's interest throughout and is easy to understand. I highly recommend anyone interested in parapsychology and other worldly experiences to read it. I look forward to the next installation.

Two of the premier professionals of our time have collaborated in a new series that covers cities and their haunted areas.
The first of the series is The Ghost Detectives' Guide to Haunted San Francisco, and it is amazing! Noted psychic Annette Martin and famous paranormal investigator Lyod Auerbach have combined their talents to show the public the real 'hauntings'.
Together they instruct the reader the differentiation between residual energy and actual spirit. This is important as the actions of the past can leave an imprint, or residual energy, rather than an actual spirit trying to communicate with us.
They lead us to areas around San Francisco, and it is amazing - from the torture of Alcatraz, to the playful Blue Lady, whom you will fall in love with!
The only negative thing I have about this book is, that it is too short!
I look forward to more books about ghost detecting in Savannah, New Orleans, Atlanta, and other cities.
This is the real deal!
