Product Description

The Sewell Ghost Antenna is a simple, affordable, versatile solution for the avid television watcher who doesn't have room for a bulky HD TV antenna. With a slim construction no thicker than a sheet of cardstock and four included Velcro patches for easy installation the Ghost can easily be placed on a wall, behind a picture frame, or out of sight behind the television itself. Its conveniently low front-to-back ratio means that either side if the antenna can be used, if either the black side or white side of the antenna fits your décor better you can install it with that side facing outward without compromising directional reception.

Installation is fast and easy; there are no complicated settings, power supplies, or assembled components. Simply screw the F-type coax jack into the matching jack on your television set and you're ready to go. The Ghost has excellent signal compatibility, with handy support for both HD and Digital signals and any UHF television signals in the 470-862MHz range. The handy combination of sturdy construction, low profile design, universal compatibility and simple install makes the Ghost the go-to antenna for any setup!

Customer Reviews

Works fantastically well for such a small antenna.
Stephen R. Decker
Getting a lot of stations isn't what's important to me - getting good quality is!
Jim Kavanaugh
In order for this to work, you'll need to be quite close to the transmitter too.

When I purchased a new high def plasma TV a few years ago, I couldn't bear to get rid of my old 32 inch traditional TV, so we moved it to my computer room. Ever since the overall switch to digital signals, I used a digital receiver and bought/hooked up 5 different TV antennas (rabbit ears, Powered digital antenna, a highly rated light metal roof antenna and 2 UHF moveable antennas) and not one of them provided a good signal so that I could get most of my favorite local channels without major pixellation. For a good year, I just frankly gave up and stopped using this TV. Then a couple months ago, I saw a great deal from Woot deals about this Ghost flat antenna; a completely new and different, lightweight antenna. Since the price was very inexpensive, I decided to take one more chance on yet another antenna and see if this would possibly work. Once I hooked the Ghost up and held the plastic laminated antenna and held it to the wall, I immediately noticed a strong signal on the digital receiver and a clear picture on one of the channels. As I flipped through all the other channels, it was all the same: great reception, clear picture and no pixellation! At long last, an antenna that finally works! If you have the same problems like I had with antennas that failed to deliver the results, I suggest you try this one.

I bought this antenna after I bought a Leaf for my main TV (I live in Dorchester, MA) that got great reception. I got this one for my PC with Windows Media Center, so I could use it as a DVR. I thought I would give the Ghost a try, as it's much cheaper. I can't tell the difference between this one and the Leaf in terms of performance in my second-floor apartment. I have the Ghost behind a cabinet next to an interior north-south wall, and I get all the major networks in crystal-clear HD. The appearance of the Ghost is a little bit cheaper than the Leaf; shiny laminated plastic instead of matte plastic. But I liked that it came with sticky Velcro to hang it.

I used this antenna in the bedroom and it sure looks a lot better than those ugly ears sticking up. The white side of this antenna is not highly visible behind the TV and it gives me about the same reception as the other--it didn't improve reception but equaled it and sure looks better.

Works slightly better than what I previously had but still have screen freezes occasionally and weather does impact the signal. Not all available channels in the area are received. All in all, with some limitations it works fine.

Best $15 I've spent in years. Yes, it can get a little buggy depending on where the antenna is placed, but the funny thing is that the normal channels we get now are WAAAAYYY more crisp than with Comcast before.

I was tired of paying $70 every month for Cable TV so I bought this antenna. Worked better than expected. I'm about 20 miles outside of Boston and pulled in 18 channels. Good Bye Cable!!!

I don't know if I had a defective product or what, but I tried this antenna on two different TV's (one of which already had ab antenna attached that worked) and couldn't get a picture on either.
