This review is from: Ghost Horse (Harlequin Large Print Intrigue) (Mass Market Paperback)
Hired to tutor his daughter for the summer, city girl Chloe Morgan kept her real reason for coming to Graylord Pastures a secret from rugged horse breeder Damian Graylord. After all, Chloe considered the dark, brooding master of the house a suspect in the mysterious disappearance of the previous teacher - her best friend. Haunted by visions of a ghost horse riding in the mist, Chloe believed the apparition was leading her to the truth, but unexplained accidents and Damian's unbridled passion threatened to lead her off course. Could she reveal the secret of the ghost horse - and her own - without losing her life and the man of her dreams?

What secret does the Ghost Horse want to reveal?,

This review is from: Ghost Horse (Harlequin Intrigue) (Mass Market Paperback)
Chloe Morgan does not believe that her foster sister Dawn Reed would elope and not contact her. Dawn knew Chloe's fear of being abandoned and would not be that cruel, so something had to have happened to her. But what? Pulling a few strings with Dawn's former employer, Chloe manages to get her foster sister's summer job tutoring an emotionally troubled thirteen year old named Nissa. The list of suspects that could be responsible for Dawn's sudden disappearance is long, and the number one spot is held by Nissa's father, Damian Graylord, a horse breeder fallen on difficult times. Accidents plague Graylord Pastures and Chloe quickly becomes the focus of them, not to mention Damian's attention as well. Are they connected? Ghost Horse is a nice and spooky gothic flavored romance, an excellent way to spend an evening curled up on the couch with a good book. Recommended.

This book was disapointing. the sexual tension was drawn out and too sudden. Some authors can get away with this but Patricia didn't. I don't understand the characters motivations and didn't find the characters very likeable. That is not to say the book is crap but it is not at the same standard as i was expecting.
