GHOST HUNTING IN HAUNTED CEMETERIES A HOW-TO GUIDE By FIONA BROOME is full of useful information and interesting facts. She goes in to detail about the different types of cemeteries, what to look for to get the best results, how to run a successful investigation, how to begin your research, and so much more. If you are looking to learn how to be a great paranormal investigator or just interested in cemeteries, this book has something for you. It is well worth the $12.95 and I recommend this book to everyone starting off in paranormal research.

I enjoyed reading this book, and found this book to be a good book for the beginner in ghost investigations as well as experienced ghost hunters. She covers the entire scope of cemetery investigation from beginning to end, explains a lot of the design elements (finger pointed up, finger pointed down, the sun, angels, etc.) found on gravestones and which type of gravestone might be haunted.
This book is a rather short read but full of information. An excellent reference book. This book would also be helpful to the genealogist, who is going through cemeteries trying to find ancestors and decipher the meanings of some no longer used text, abbreviations, and symbols on the gravestones. I was disappointed that the author, as she says in her book, of the "oldest, most respected" paranormal web site didn't have any other photos besides orbs included in her book. I would think a group that has been around for a long time and continues to do active investigations would have more to show for it with photos than this book did. It would have been nice to see examples of the types of manifestations that can be found at some cemeteries (orbs, mists, lights, apparitions, etc.). All in all, however, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in investigating the paranormal.

I really enjoyed Fiona Broome's newest book
'Ghost Hunting in Haunted Cemeteries'. I think this a book good for ghost hunter or historian. It gives great guidelines on what type of cemetery would be a good source of interesting paranormal activity. Once you are there she aides you in what sort of things to look for and the clues that may indicate a spirit may have a history that would indicate an active after life. Fiona details where to find the resources to help in the detective work of rediscovering history once thought buried, is invaluable. It hi-lights how the study of the local graveyards can teach one about the community and its social dynamics. I'm pleased to know this book documents the things no longer taught to the current caretakers of death. Their teachings are limited to only the care of the body ignoring the rich wealth once known about the cemetery and the interrelationship of the living and the dead. What I like most is this book gives me the practical clues to research the folks who lived in my home which dates from 1860. Most folks that knew them over time, will have left clues in the graveyards.

This is hands down the very best How-to Guide for ghost hunting in haunted cemeteries that you will find anywhere. It is filled with numerous photographs that detail exactly what to look for. This is the only book that I have read that gives step by step details on how to select and evaluate haunted cemeteries and what to expect once you get there. I encourage all members and fans of the LITTLE EGYPT GHOST SOCIETY to get a copy of this book.
