Oh, and the song where Santos is jamming it through the boat, and the song is at the end of the movie, it's...

2.0 out of 5 stars francesca's song, April 19, 2003
By
Paul Stanford (Ft. Lauderdale FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ghost Ship [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
The italian song Francesca sings in the beginning is not on this soundtrack. It is called "Senza Fine" and it was dubbed for the actress (Francescsa Rettondini) by singer Monica Mancini. You can find it on some of Monica Mancini's albums. Now if someone can tell my wife where to get Francesca's red dress...

4.0 out of 5 stars Opening, January 3, 2003

To Music fans from LA and DC. The opening song is titled "Senza Fine", sung by Monica Mancini. Not the actress in the film by the way. The song can be found on Monica's CD titled "Cinema Paradiso" I too wish that the Ghost Ship Soundtrack included this track, but I still enjoy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars my little box -- by gabriel mann, December 2, 2002
This review is from: Ghost Ship [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
Track 23, the song played during the flashback scene is called "My Little Box" and is performed by Gabriel Mann.

This track makes the flashback scene come alive, turning it into the best scene of the film, and making this a soundtrack worthy of a purchase.

Gabriel Mann has a brand new CD out titled "Tug Of War". If you like "My Little Box" on the Ghost Ship Soundtrack, give it a listen. I guarantee it won't disappoint. You can find it on amazon.com (try a search using "Gabriel Mann Tug Of War").

5.0 out of 5 stars Senza Fine, November 9, 2002

John Frizzell has always composed terrific scores and this one is no exception. I must admit however I purchased the CD mainly for the beautiful Senza Fine which is heard throughout the film. Monica Mancini performed it in the film and it is the most beautiful version I've ever heard. As it turns out Monica Mancini has released the same recording on her own CD which is a collection of great film music. The CD is called Cinema Paradiso and is absolutely worth checking out! Bravo John for another great ride!

5.0 out of 5 stars My Little Box Rocks, February 12, 2005
This review is from: Ghost Ship [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
The great song from the "flashback scene" in the movie, is track 23, My Little Box. Simply a must-have song. Dark and dry, the lyrics accompany the hollow and spooky beat. "I live safe inside my cell, in the darkness that surrounds me, I see my own special hell. Compliment my suffering, feeling warm inside this pain, four walls comin' down on me, are coming down again."

3.0 out of 5 stars I took a chance and lost., December 26, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Ghost Ship [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
I wanted the oppening song from the move where Francesca Rettondini starts singing right before the wire cuts up all the passengers. It was NOT on the soundtrack. I thought it was. That was the reason I bought the CD. The last song with a deadly sounding guitar is not on the CD either. I was dissappointed. The songs on the soundtrack were nice, but not what I was looking for...
