4.0 out of 5 stars A Haunting Lesson, December 12, 1999
This review is from: The Ghost in Room 11 (Hardcover)
The Ghost in Room 11 takes a look at how scary it is to be the new kid in class, which, the story reveals, is not as scary as meeting a ghost. Matt (the new kid) soon learns the value of honesty in new friendships. He also learns the importance of doing your best in school because old teachers don't go away, but they might come back to haunt you. This is a fun book for boys and girls of all ages. Comments: Hannah, grade 2 - "It was pretty scary when the ghost touched Matt's chin, but I really liked the book."

5.0 out of 5 stars this book is awsome, October 5, 2011
This review is from: The Ghost in Room 11 (Paperback)
The reason I read this book is because my friend said it was good. So I wanted to see for my serif. I loved it. It had good detail and it stayed on topic. It was about a boy named Mathew Barber who moved to Healy from Massachusetts. He told a bunch of lies. Charlie told Mathew that Healy elementary was haunted. Mathew soon found that Charlie was right. The ghost helped Mathew pass his spelling test. The ghost finally proved it was real by appearing at the book fair. It told them its motto try hard, try harder, this means you. The last time she scared Mathew was after the talk they had in room 11. She said "That the librarian heated to read, the art teacher heated art, and the gym teacher heated gym. I can`t even believe that Mathew had a conversation with a ghost. The characters were Mathew Barber, Mom, Dad, Ms. Mohan, Mr. Beasley, Ms. Whipple aka ghost, Charlie, Ms. Sanders, Jason, Miss. Bucher, Stephaney, Kristen, and Miss. Carey. If you want to find more buy Ghost In Room11.
