If your a fan of metalcore, you may like this band.
It leans on the more hardcore side of metalcore, perhaps entirely hardcore. Do not expect alot of super technical guitar playing. What you can expect here is what most people would offhandedly call "punky hardcore" Not a band way to describe it. Anyway, the vocals you hear in the samples are pretty much what you get the entire time. There are breakdowns and the recording quality is what it is, but i think it enhances the whole album. Its got a real heavy feel, somewhat similar in style to bands like emmure. No clean vocals, some really creative songs and alot of memorable moments. Don't worry about endlessly repeating chorus lines or many boring parts. The songs are somewhat long so I dont feel these samples do some of them justice. I do recommend you check out youtube of at least 2 songs and see if you like it. All in all its a really good CD and they're a talented group! Also note there is a CD prior to this by them. Its not available on Amazon though. The name of their first cd is "All Is Not Lost" I recommend both. I personally enjoy the album a great deal with the exception of a few tracks. It doesnt get rotated too frequently but when I'm in the mood for something fast and brutal with some pulse pounding guitar/drumwork this is perfect. Enjoy! |
