Grade 5-7 In this new "Ghost Squad" book, the living and dead sleuths investigate a ritzy summer camp and discover that the owner is a Nazi war criminal. The plot moves smoothly and suspensefully, depending on mistaken identities for mystery and ghostly powers for solution. The one-dimensional characters, however, trivialize Nazi hunting and leave readers wondering why none of the Ghoul's 150,000 victims help haunt the criminal. The Ghost Squad plays fairer with readers than the Hardy Boys do by providing clues and not relying on coincidence. Nevertheless, no one in the book seems real, the way Doris Fein (Holiday), for example, does. An adequate mystery for collections where this or other mystery series are in high demand. The great book of the ghost squad,

This book is called The Ghost Squad. It is about four ghosts, two alive kids and two criminals. The kids names are Buzz and Wako, and the main ghost name is Danny. The two criminals what to steal from the jewelry store. The ghostis try to communicate two the kids so that the kids can tell the authorities. Thay were friends before Thai died. The jewelry store is in a medium size town. The story ends with one criminal is shot and hurt the other one got arrested.I rate this book three out of five stars. If you like ghost stores you will like this book because it is a good ghost story. You may not like this book if you don't like ghost stores or if you like mystery stores. A good book over all.
