A hole in the world where a woman used to be,

_Her name was once Elisa Cameron, investigative reporter, but she doesn't remember that now. For all she knows she was born the night that she died- in a flash of fire. She had no memory, only an instinctual need to find out who killed her- and why.
_Slowly, she came to discover her powers. There was no one to guide her. For all she knew, she was the only ghost in the world. For that is what she surely was- an entity that existed slightly out of phase with the world of the living. Yet, contact with the physical world could be made if she concentrated hard enough. Indeed, she could actually cause objects from the "real" world to vibrate into her plane of existence- like her costume- and her twin .45 automatics... _Thus begins the quest of a spirit to find her killers. It leads her among monsters in human form. But monsters can be slain if they get in your way. You can either gun them down with slugs that materialize the moment they leave your guns- or, if it moves you, you can simply reach into their chests and materialize your fingertips around their hearts. If this seems a bit "heartless" for a spirit one must remember that when one is dead that puts you outside the moral territory of the rest of us. The more she comes to experience her new state, the more she comes to appreciate the freedom of death- and that the sad, sick, little creatures around her mean nothing to her. They are better off dead. She would leave them to their fate, but first she is impelled to unravel the great evil earthly conspiracy of the wealthy and powerful that caused her death- and bring vengeance to them from beyond the grave. _If you are fans of comics like the Spectre, Ghost Rider, or John Constantine: Hellblazer, then this book should appeal to you. The artwork really is first rate- and there is Ghost Gallery of sketches in the back.
