This is a very high-quality doll, very durable, and would stand up to a fair amount of abuse from a child. However, Ghost World, the graphic novel and the movie, are not kid's stories, so I doubt a young child would appreciate this as anything more than a girl doll. It is a very campy item for those who have read the books or seen the movie. Would make a great gift for the high school buddy who hasn't figured out where they're going yet, or finds the world a little too weird to want to be any part of it. A tribute to the creativity of Dan Clowes and this great character. Pretty creative box and accessories too.

I actually got this for my wife who, although is unfamiliar with the comic book, loooooves the film. She also loves this "action figure." It's also well made, and the cat mask can be placed on Enid's head or removed.btw, anyone notice they had one on the show, "The IT Crowd" ...? |
