As soon as I saw this bank a few months ago, I was blown away. It looks even better than the original toy of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the early 90s, and is much bigger too. Hey, if you've still got the old Ghostbusters figures, this could go with them pretty well. Either way, this is a great bank. Stay Puft's legs are hollow in addition to his body, so you can get some extra change saved up that way. The slot's in the back of his blue sailor thingy, and the head pops off to let you get the money. His arms don't move, but that's ok- this is just a plastic bank after all.

The sculpt and paint work on Stay Puft is solid all around, and I have no complaints in either category. And at this price, you're getting a heck of a bargain. As you can see in the product pictures, the bank looks exactly as it does in the stock pictures- something rare for NECA these days. Get this for yourself or any other Ghostbusters fan in your life- they'll love it!

Very cool for the Ghostbuster fan. It's as pictured Very life like if that makes sence when talking about a marshmallow-man. I have 2 Problems The baby blue paint used to highlight
his face, legs ,arms and ,hat seem to be used TOO much. . Now THE BIG PROBLEM WHERE IS THE BOX, PACKAGE, ANYTHING!! The bank comes in a clear plastic bag, thats it! So for a collector it maybe a problem because the bank gets finger prints, dirt and marks very easy. For the price of a plastic
bank I expected a box for storage. Still it's very cool

I can't praise this product enough, it's just so cool!

Looks perfectly like the "Ghostbusters" character. Just unscrew his head to get the change out of him. (the money slot's on his back)

My 7yo is obsessed with Ghostbusters. As a child of the 80s I do nothing to dissuade him. :-) This was kind of a ridiculous (expensive) purchase for Christmas but he did need a new bank and I knew he'd love this one. (He's have probably loved Slimer more, but too many reports of Slimer's arms coming off...)

Sure enough, he loves it.

It is 11 inches as another reviewer noted. Yeah it does have some random paint scuffs on it, I haven't tried to remove them yet.

It doesn't DO anything, but by the same token it's not annoying - my son's old bank was a pig that was supposed to count your money but didn't work too well, was annoying when it talked, and even with no batteries (so no sound) it was really slow to gobble the money, so annoying. Stay Puft does nothing - but takes money easily and as far as I can tell won't break, either. (His arms look like they would move, but they don't)

Yeah it's pricey for what it is - but when you think how you could buy an annoying bank that will break for the same amount - it doesn't seem so bad. My nephew got a butt bank that farts when you put money in for Christmas - and broke after being played with for about 15 minutes. When I saw that, Mr. Stay Puft suddenly seemed like a wise investment.

This is sturdy and useful and will make any Ghostbusters fan very happy. I'm probably going to get one for myself as well.

I ordered this bank, and I expected it to be eight inches tall. Measured from the bottom of his feet to the top of his hat, this bank is exactly eleven inches tall! It's paint job is better than the fifteen-inch NECA figurine, and it is a bank to boot! This figure is going right on my desk next to my old toys. My old '80s Stay Puft figure is going in the closet as this new one is bigger and badder than the old one!

He is my favorite chacter in Ghost-Busters! I say hes educational because hes a marshmellow,and thats a food,and food is educational,and pluse,hes a bank,and a bank stores money,and moneyis numbers,and numbers are educational!

This was a present for my 9 year old son. When I asked him to review this product, he just said: "Simply awesome!". As you can see my son, who is a big fan of the "Ghoustbusters", loved this bank. A good feature - when it is full you do not have to break it, just take off the head part.

I love this bank so much. Awesome gift for any Ghostbusters fan! Got it as a present to myself about a year ago and now I have to get the anger stay puft to go with it. Too cute.
