About the Author

Historian, ghost researcher, Janice Oberding investigates haunted places throughout Nevada and California. She is the director of the Nevada Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society and the area representative for Troy Taylor's American Ghost Society. She lives in Northern Nevada and teaches ghosthunting classes and writing classes at local community colleges.

Books of this genre are always fun. Seldom are they so informative. We have been going to Virginia City for a number of years. Never really knew so much about the city until I read this book. Glad I purchased it.

She is an expert on Nevada hauntings.
