Book Description

October 30, 2002
Collected here for the first time in one book, is a complete compendium of the ghost stories and haunted legends of Boston.

Within these pages you'll be introduced to The Boston Strangler, The Lady in Black and the restless spirits of Charles Dickens, Babe Ruth and Captain Kidd. You'll learn about local entrepreneurs who raised money by raising the dead and why some colleges offer "co-dead" dormitories and a lesson in terror. You'll take in a show with the undead guests in the Theater District and picnic on Boston Common with ghostly companions. Evil pirates, haunted lighthouses, cold hearted killers, witches and demons are all here to offer a guided tour of the dark side of Boston.

This review is from: Ghosts of Boston (Paperback)
This was a fun book. We went on a ghost walk and it was fun to hear the stories told at the locations where they took place. The book covers more stories than are covered on the ghost walks. I always try to find one ghost book for every city that I visit. This was a good book for the city of Boston.
