So many stories just begging to be told and she does it perfectly.

This was an extremely entertaining read, and I have found Ms. Waters' writing style to be engaging, witty and humorous without being outrageous.

There are some great stories about a haunted cemetery in Evergreen and some interesting notes on history of the area.

I read Stephanie's first book, Haunted Manitou Springs, over a year ago and was delighted to find out that she had also written another book- Ghosts of Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak! Everything I liked about the first book are also true about this one- her wit and sense of humor make reading each story even more enjoyable. I was especially excited to see that she wrote about Fairview Cemetery! I run past the cemetery regularly, and I have always wondered about the stories of people who are buried there! Cemeteries are creepy in general, but there is something about Fairview Cemetery that makes me feel particularly uneasy. Thanks Stephanie for sharing these wonderful stories! I am glad that I now know more about the history of my hometown! What a pleasure to read.

I have been on several of Stephanie's haunted tours in Manitou Springs
and events in Colorado Springs. Stephanie brings the same enthusiasm,
wit and humor to her books as she has in her in person tours. Unlike
most ghost books that recite only ghostly encounters, Ms. Waters presents
the historical background in fun to read stories that kept me captivated.
I read her first book, Haunted Manitou Springs, last year and bought
the new book Ghosts of Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak this year after
going on another of her great tours. I would highly recommend both
books as great examples of ghostly storytelling with a unique historical
perspective.

I found this book along with Ms. Water's last book extremely interesting, and very informative. It's an excellent book for those folks interested in tales from beyond, so to speak, or simply want some trivia germain to the area!

The Ghosts of Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak by Stephanie Waters is really one of the best local lore books I have read. She has the ability to engage the reader with her off-beat sense of humor and her knowledge of local history. This book is great for fans of the supernatural, legend and history. Having read both books, which are fantastic, this one suited my "local legend" curiosity even more than the first.

A real talent and I am looking forward to her next book.

I have read the first book and this one is just as great.. To read about THE SPRINGS history, and the ghosts that come with them, was really fun...
Thank you Ms. Waters for the time that you put into this great read...
Keep up the good work and don't keep us in suspense, when can we expect the next one????
