Dirty Vegas was first introduced to me by none other than the
Mitsubiti commercials. "Days Go By" was a great song and i HAD to buy the full LP when it was released. Upon listening, i found it was just an amazing LP. I honestly have to say, I loved every song. Its probably one of the best LPs of the year (well, that could be questionable next to Kylie Minogue's Fever LP or Madonna's "Die Another Day" in which Dirty Vegas does a remix for her and its wonderful). But of all the tracks, "Ghosts" stood out to me like none of the other tracks. It had a feeling a life in the song like i havent heard in any song before. The song is absolutely beautiful. The words reflect a deep metaphorical look at the need for peace in life. The term "ghosts" stands for the things of he past that haunt you in the present. I believe that it is a song anyone can identify with. The song is not like "Days Go By". It is more of a soft electronica, but if you are into more trancey house beats, go for the remixes. I love remixes, but this is a song that does not matter to me if there are remixes or not. I suggest you buy this single if you want the remixes in addition to the amazing LP track, or buy the LP which I completely suggest as well.

Ghosts is the excellent followup to Days Go By, but has been unceremoniously been underrated due to the big first single. Not that Days Go By wasn't good but Ghosts is even better. A heady mixture of cool electronic dance with a less autotuned vocal that spells of yearning that "all I ever wanted was to feel the way you feel."

Check out the two remixes here especially the joeski vocal. They rock the house down. Also contains the video. Dirty Vegas' beut album might not have been terrific throughout but they show great promise, hopefully to be unleashed on their next new record.
