This murder mystery really had a different twist using a historical town as a backdrop. It also showed how human emotions can affect so many lives. Enjoyed this one.

This isn't a very well written book--surely won't win any prizes. However, anyone familiar with Gettysburg ghost tour scene will recognize many characters in book. Author is right on about Creepy character. She is much hated and pretty low life character. Feel like author wrote for revenge and ya just have to admire that. Any book that can piss off that Creepy character wins my vote

I loved this adaptation of the small town, murder mystery genre! It was really a great read with lots of different angles and I really had to keep reading it was so interesting! Loved how the author kept you in suspense around each curve of the story and gave you that feeling of disgust, humor, and intrigue after every chapter. Really keeps you guessing who did it??? Bravo! Bravo!

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it to anyone who has been to Gettysburg or may someday go. Knowing some of the background of the story, it is very accurate. Very entertaining. Can't say enough good things about this book.

As a Gettysburg insider in the Ghost Tour industry I can tell you that yes, this book is a murder mystery, but it is definitely based on actual people who are involved in giving ghost tours. Some of these people I know and a few I have worked with. Two such were the characters Tamra and her African-American "husband", both of whom came to our company after they finally broke from "Creepy". I have also known "Connie" for years. The book is a scathing repudiation of "Creepy", known around town before this book was published as just the person she is described to be. Buy it and read it for an accurate look at the true personality of someone who has been giving all of us a bad name ever since she stepped onto Steinwehr avenue.
