1.0 out of 5 stars Stop. This is not the movie you want. December 16, 2010
By Stan C
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
For some reason when reading the summery to this flick, "White Noise" came to mind. This garbage was far from it. It started out slow with poor acting and no explanation of who the characters were. And it was never clarified throughout this mess. Unless it was done during one of the times I fell asleep. When I thought the movie was going to get better, it fizzled out and returned to slow, boring, and stupid. The ending explained why the characters where seeing 'ghosts' and it was believable. The ending just fell apart. I was hoping for more because I actually bought this garbage.

These idiots had the opportunity to take this movie in so many directions. Even with a low budget. This is not a scary movie! So what if some of the characters died... it should have happened within the first 5 minutes. I bought this DVD based on the inflated reviews... It seems the rave reviews were given by employees of the film... now I know what an "Indie" is. I should have read ALL the reviews. Save your money. This movie is not even worthy as a rental. If you really need to watch this movie, borrow it from one of the fools (like me) that bought this mess. Then prepare to doze off.

1.0 out of 5 stars I Tried.... February 23, 2011
I read all the reviews. And even the director defending his movie, and stating all the awards this movie, and or actors were nominated for.( I was even cheering him on).But man, this movie is just plain terrible. And Im not trying to be rude or go along with the other comments.I really wanted to like this.Theres REALLY nothing to like about this movie, aside from the cover art.

1.0 out of 5 stars Story doesn't exist; bad acting does. October 21, 2011
Oh my, Bad, very bad. This was very boring, horribly acted and loooooong. There is scene after scene of the actors standing in one position, woodenly delivering their lines without any movement of the cameras for several minutes at a time. Or, there are several scenes with the actors just standing around,NOT saying anything at all! Even an A/V student in high school knows to move the camera for different views. And one of the biggest problems of the script is that ghosts do not exist! Period. This will be a bit of a spoiler but there aren't any ghosts or scares in this film. I don't mean I've seen so many, nothing scares me anymore, I mean there just aren't any frightening moments or spirits! There isn't anything supernatural in this story. Do not believe any of the good reviews here unless they wrote about what a great comedy the flick was.

3.0 out of 5 stars It was worth a sitting...but not a second sitting March 12, 2011
but if you are expecting a "Ghost Hunters" type film, forget it. One good thing is they show a flash light that worked by remote control that made me wonder if the real "Ghost Hunter's" show doesn't do that!

The acting was good. The story was really good in a few parts, but didn't go where i thought it would. It just wasn't scary enough for me. When there were some real chills to be had like the shapes in the basement, it turned a different direction more towards a slasher film.

I was a good film to watch once, but it's not really what it makes itself out to be, which was a little disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars good acting don't exist October 2, 2013
By Mark
Ghosts don't exist, which should of been called good acting/directing don't exist, is a horribly acted/directed DVD. Good acting does not exist anywhere in this DVD and neither does good directing. The story, which is quite lame, is made even worse when you learn that ghosts are not the cause of the dilemma, which many of these poorly acted characters are facing. This is easily the worst DVD I have ever bought. Pretty much every character in this movie is uncharismatic/unlikable. Seriously, I am throwing this in the trash rather than trading it in for someone else to waste their time viewing. I thought the many other abundant negative reviews, posted throughout on the internet, were just being overly critical. I was wrong - they were all not critical enough. Avoid this DVD, save your time for something else worth watching.

3.0 out of 5 stars Redskins Fans !!! September 19, 2012

Not bad for a low bugdget, quickly put together film. Produced by and cameo role, by Washington Redskins(former) Tight End Chris Cooley. Loudoun County, Va. scenes will excite the local area folks.
