Good book on ghosts, August 28, 2011
This review is from: Ghosts and Gravestones in St. Augustine, Florida (Paperback)
I just got done writing 2 3-star reviews chastising the authors for writing a book that gives you 5 pages on the history of a place and only a paragraph or even just a few sentences on what are random footsteps or a shadow walking around.
THIS is a ghost book. Rather than a few pages on the history and then a few sentences on the ghosts, this is a paragraph of the history and then the rest of the page on the ghost happenings. Yes, this book is fairly small compared to bigger books like Ghosts of the McBridge House, but I appreciate these small ghost books as well. In fact I prefer these books to be this small. For me, I seem to get bored reading anything over 250 pages or so. Perhaps I am just a low-stamina reader even though I have read over 100 books in the past 2 years...
Either way, enough about my personal problems. This book is an excellent ghost book and one that surely deserves to be read. Unlike the last two books I reviewed, this book hits the parapsychologist nail on the head!
