Interesting insight into the final chapter of De Sade's life.,

The only thing I wish was that there was more. Sade's family went to great lengths to make certain much of his personal writings were lost. To have this much gathered together is nothing short of miraculous, sure, but what questions this book answers only leaves still more to be asked. All that being said, I recommend this book for Sade enthusiasts, who are more interested in knowing more about the real man, rather than those who would rather assume the holes in his history can be filled by his fictions.
