From the Author

Thank you so much for inquiring on my first published book.  It was a pleasure to investigate and to write.  Every single account in this book was thoroughly checked out first hand.  I sincerely hope that you will enjoy!

About the Author

Kristy Robinett is a professional psychic medium and author who began speaking with spirits at the age of three.

I thought that I would go to college, do something in law, get married and have kids. Happily Ever After, right? Apparently not. Well, the Happily Ever After for sure, but not all in that order. There was one tiny issue - I could communicate with the dead.

After working in corporate for years, I realized that it wasn't fulfilling my calling. So with my box of HR skills, along with the psychic gifts, I began to do professional readings. I swear that I am an 'Abnormally Normal' person, all American girl that talks to the dead.

So how did I get a gig as someone that could talk to the dead? It definitely wasn't the profession that my parent's were at all thrilled with. Going to parochial school from kindergarten through high school graduation, I was taught that anything to do with psychics was evil, as if I didn't already have a low self-esteem like most kids! So after trying the 'real' world for a long time, I screamed 'Uncle' and gave in to my talent and here I am, day after day, talking to the dead and chasing ghosts.

I have been profiled on many radio and television shows and am blessed with a large clietenele that makes up a blushing list of Who's Who in Hollywood along with law enforcement, clergy, politicians, physicians, attorneys, domestic goddesses, metaphysical professionals and celebrities, to every day people. As Randy Jackson says - "I keep it real' when I do readings.

More About the Author

I have used my unique gift of psychic mediumship since childhood. Whether it is to connect those that have lost loved ones or to assist in getting your life back on track, I'm here to help with direction, in nothing but a positive light. My ability to use several of my gifts helps me give variance to my clients.

Becoming comfortable with my gift has taken an awful long time and still when I speak with someone who doesn't know "what" I am, I begin - "Now, I am perfectly sane, but....I see ghosts...." I am not different than you. Everybody has the ability to "see", you just have to open yourself to it.

Being from Michigan, I loved reading about all the haunted spots as I'm familiar with many of the places mentioned in the book! The stories are short and great for those of us that are short on time and appreciate a quicker read! Kristy does an excellent job of story telling and leaves you wanting more! Can't wait for her next book!

I have known Kristy for a few years on the internet, and have read about many of her amazing experiences. I just finished reading "Ghosts of Southeast Michigan", and enjoyed it. It wasn't long enough, but was well done. It made me wish I was walking around the same locations she was in, and experiencing what Kristy felt and heard. Hope another book follows this one.

the author hadn't cut off so many accounts so abruptly after barely mentioning the resolution. And if there weren't page after page of big b/w photos (which never show well) of cemeteries with the author mentioning in passing that she knew of many scary experiences in them, and that was it. It was a real head scratcher why she didn't write any of these cemetery experiences up for the book - and if she is reading this review, I'd be curious to know the reason why. It's not as if the book was very long so it couldn't be a space issue.

It is exciting to read a book and have a familarity with the area that the stories were written about. Kristy did an excellent job sharing her experiences and the history behind various hauntings. This book is a quick read that leaves you wanting more. I am excited for her next book to come out!!
