5.0 out of 5 stars True the classic C64 version, January 23, 2000

I only buy the classic Commodore 64 games for my GBC. I just happened to see G&G at a store yesterday and picked it up and i'm glad I did. This is a great port of the classic game, and from what I can tell it's pretty much the same. Only part that I find a little hard is sometimes it's hard to see little objects on the ground on such a small screen. But what game doesn't have that problem on this platform right? If you are a fan of G&G, you'll love this game. Even if you're a fan of general action/platform style games, this one is one you won't regret buying. Sound is good, graphic are great, action is constant and can get hard at times. I think there's 4 or 5 different weapons you can find to help Arthur on his quest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ghosts N Goblins - Very addicting!, September 16, 2000
This review is from: Ghosts 'n Goblins (Game Cartridge)
Well, this is an oldie, but a goodie! Ghosts n goblins hits back to the old days, I remember throwing in quarter after quarter into the arcade version, and stayed up every night playing it on my NES.. Ohh, the good old days *sighs* Now, you can get this on the gameboy color! This game is so fun and addicting, I just bought this today, and my face has been glued to the gameboy screen! The musick is pretty catchy as well, plus everytime you complete a stage, you are rewarded a password, so when you die, you don't have to start from level one.. Pretty good idea, if you ask me. You simply must buy this wonderful game! Arthur, the lance wielding hero rules!!

4.0 out of 5 stars for all you arcade old-timers out there..., June 19, 2000

i don't know how many quarters i punched into the arcade machine ghosts'n goblins. must have been hundreds at least. and now i can play the game wherever and whenever i want, just for as much as about 25 dollars. sounds good? uh, you bet! best thing is the back-up-battery so you won't have to play the levels again and again. the arcade-port is perfect, you won't even notice any difference. same for the difficulty: HARD AS HELL. you will have to learn the levels, or you're gonna die. hundreds and hundreds of times. but if you liked the arcade (or the NES, or the mega drive) version, BUY IT!

This was a great game on the original NES system. The only problem is that it didn't have a save feature. Now it is coming to the Color Game Boy. Can't wait.

G&G is a great port from the clasic game. The game is good, it isn't as easy as a game you can beat in you first try, and have nice colors. Well the game is simply a good one, and if you like this kind of games you should try this
