Ghoulies 2 - The Masterpiece.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ghoulies 2 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Ghoulies 2 , doesnt start where the first one ends , and thank you for that !The story is about some satanists that have summoned some Ghoulies , but the Ghoulies are stolen by a priest. He tries to kill the Ghoulies by putting them into Acid but they Ghoulies ofcourse outsmarts him and kill him. So the Ghoulies sneaks into a trailer that belongs to a tivoli , and starts terrorising the visitor at the tivilo . It's one of the best film i have ever seen , no doubt about that. It's very funny and to Ghoulies are well done. It's gonna make you laugh alot. Me and my friends rate it 5 Stars of 5 possible.

Warning! Before even thinking on purchasing this product read the following. If like me you grew up mostly in the 80's and loved films like these you might be interested to know that this title is cut!!!, and the sound and picture quality are below average at best. This may sound harsh but if you have seen the quality of Fright Night, what was released in the same year and is also a B-Movie you will know what they could have done with this title. Better off buying the video for 2.99.

Funny at times and you do care for the characters. People who like this genre will appreciate the movie, but could be too gory for little children.

Funnier than the original, that's for sure,
This review is from: Ghoulies 2 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
As a carnival must think hard which attractions are gonna get the boot, the flailing haunted house gets another chance when the guests become attracted to the little monsters inside. The creatures then escape, causing murder and mayhem throughout the park. Better than the original and still pretty wild but, like the original as well, too violent and premature for a PG-13 rating. Pretty entertaining although.

Good campy fun!!!,
This review is from: Ghoulies II (DVD)
Ghoulies 2 has to be my favorite out of the series! There are five reasons I love watching Ghoulies 2! First, its the one I remember the most growing up. Second, you get to see more new ghoulie characters and they've improved visually and characteristically compared to the first one, not to mention the later ones. Third, it all takes place at the fair! How fun is that!!! Fourth, I could watch this flick over and over again! Lastly, fifth, there is an awesome ending that will remind you of Killer Klowns's ending! That's all I'm saying. Don't get me wrong, I love the first one too, but three and four sadly go fail, in my opinion. If I were you, and enjoy such films like this one, go ahead and buy the part 1&2 double feature disk! Once again, this one is definitely a popcorn muncher!

Wonderful Family Movie,

If your father hasn't accidentally taken you to a movie recently, I highly recommend he takes you to see Ghoulies II. Or, as I like to refer to it Ghoulies vs. Carnies. The movie stars no other than "that guy" and Oates (my father asked if it was Lionel Richie) as a foppish dandy. Throughout the movie, carnival goers are terrorized by a toilet dwelling ghoulie, what appears to be a flying caelacanth, a bukkake rat ghoulie, and a cat ghoulie with tourette's. At no point do the Rat and Cat Ghoulie fight, they've learned to coexist peacefully despite eachother's shortcomings. The effects are a wonderful display from the geniuses at Thunderbirds, and Rankin and Bass. Everyone go find your Boglins. I know you've got one somewhere.

GHOULIES 2 is better than parts 1 and 4 it has the toilet monsters taking revenge on Larry and Ned's carnival, but spending time in a haunted house making the costumers laugh at what the monsters do,but at the end the action begins.Rated PG-13 or R.

Ghoulies,Ghoulies,Ghoulies! I love those little toilet goblins. This movie was fantastic! The best is hearing the crowd's reaction to the kid's description of the rat-bat ghoulie; "Man, I love that stuff!" "Ya, that's terrific!". Other precious moments arise in every scene where the rebelious teen frolics and head-bangs to his "tunes". A classic. A sheer treasure. Fun for the whole family. Rent to Own!
