What happens when an alien hybrid cat-eared girl with aspirations of becoming the next teen pop sensation lands on Earth?
Di Gi Charat (aka Dejiko) discovers that she needs to pay the high living expenses of Tokyo. Working in Gamers, the famed Japanese hobby retail chain, with her constant companions Petit Charat (Puchiko) and Gema, Dejiko must fight monsters attacking Tokyo, battle her rival Rabi-en-Rose (Usada Hikaru) and cater to the shopping whims of the very fickle Japanese otaku (hard core fan).
With its dizzying pace, break-neck humor and wacky characters, Di Gi Charat has attracted fans all around the world. The calendar features art by original character designer and famed manga artist Koge-Donbo, Pita-Ten original character designer and creator.
Produced and created by Broccoli (Aquarian Age, BushiLord) and directed by Hiroaki Sakurai (Parappa the Rapper, Leave it to Piyoko!, Kodocha), this hilarious story about one alien girl with attitude and Laser Eye Beams to back it up has been a staple of anime fans for years.
