My daughter and I have been collecting Giant Microbe products for a few years: me, professionally, and she, for education and her future profession. Unfortunately, she got the real Swine Flu before vaccine was available to the healthy population two years ago. She was horribly sick for 2 weeks, but got through it with a sense of humor, a professional curiosity, and a good story to tell. So, in memoriam of her experience, I have secured her the symbolic plushie to go with the antibodies she now carries! As a future scientist, she loves these things. They are well constructed and come with a great little pamphlet explaining what they are. A little germy fun for those of us with a warped sense of humor!

These are great prizes for science fairs or any class related project. I gave them to the top three place finishers in the New York State Science Olympiad "Microbe Mission" event. Both the MS and HS division winners loved them equally with the HS kids possibly more so.

If you like to spread diseases, this is the best way to do it. And its cute enough that most people actually want to get H1N1.

Item arrived quickly and in perfect shape. I love the Giant Microbe series, and enjoy giving these as gifts for my sister, a major science geek. She didn't have this one on her Christmas list this year, but when I saw it, I knew I had to get it for her.
