To our amazement, this stocking stuffer has quickly become a favorite with two 7 yr olds, 8 yr old, parents, guests, anyone who has tried it. The competition becomes fierce and repeat games are common. We purchased two sets and combine them for the games, having two of the black (highest point stick, can be used as tool to lift others) makes the game more interesting to us. Motivation to tally scores provides a lot of quick addition practice. Simple item that should be on every game shelf I think. Fantastic.

With all the new technology and battery operated games, this old fashioned game is simple and tons of fun for all ages. I'm a grandmother and the neighbor kids love playing this game with me and were very excited when I gave it to them at Christmas. How simple but so much fun.

I purchased this item specifically because the product says that they are GIANT pick up sticks and I thought they would be great for younger kids. Unfortunately, they are not giant at all. They are the same size as another product I purchased. Very disappointed because there is nothing otherwise special about them. I do like that they are wood, but I really would not have purchased based on that alone.

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter for christmas. She had no idea what is was. Since has fallen in love with it. There not all perfectly straight. They are made of wood.She has enjoyed them.

It was a great product and brought back memories of when I was a kid. It came super fast too and was well priced.

Loved the large multi-colored pickup sticks. Word of caution: my granddaughter immediately got a "splinter" with her first attempt to play. It appears several of the sticks had to be cleaned up a bit eliminating the threat of splinters.

I purchased this toy for my granddaughters ages 3, 5 & 7. I love the giant version of this game for young players, which also helps with hand coordination in trying to pick up the sticks without moving any others. The 2 older girls really enjoyed playing the game as did the adults in the family.

I remember playing pick up sticks as a child and I wanted to play with my children. I wanted to purchase wooden pick up sticks because I prefer them over the plastic. Sadly, some of them were warped when we received them. Warped pick up sticks are not fun and really affect the game. We played once but I will be looking for a better quality set. These will be in my next tag sale.
