5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the Traveling Child
If I were trapped on an airplane or in a car with a short person, this is the book I would want. It's got HUNDREDS of photo-stickers, pages and pages of them for turning plain old sticker fun into writing and reading fun. Take a steno pad and a marker and you've got instant literacy fun. Highly recommended for ages five to eight.

My Mom bought this book for my daughter (she found it at Ross for $5) and my 2 year old daughter loves it-she has learned so much from this book. In fact, I bought another one becuase we got so much enjoyment out of it. I think she has learned tremendously from the book in terms of language and identifying objects and knowing her colors, numbers, etc. As you can see, I cannot say enuogh about it-very entertaining, fun and a learning tool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for killing time with the toddler, September 24, 2009

This review is from: Giant Sticker Activity Work Book (Paperback)
my son is almost three and he LOVES this sticker book. It's our first one so we have no basis for comparison, but I did buy him a number of other preschool-type books with mazes, coloring, dot-to-dot etc, and by far he loves this one the best and will spend more time on it than all his other books combined. Normally his attention span is quite short but he will literally spend hours with this book, although it should be noted that it's hours with me heavily involved as well. I think the other books are too advanced for him at this point but the stickers involve mostly just picture recognition, and the other activities--tracing, coloring, drawing--we skip over, as he doesn't do those yet.

Stickers are placed all in the center of the book, organized roughly under "numbers" "abc" "colors" and "just for fun." If you happen to peel stickers off and not remember what section you got it from (or if your kid peels them off and then wants you to find where to put them), it can be a bit frustrating searching through all the sections, but it could be fun as well, and definitely a good time-killer if you're traveling or babysitting. So I agree with the reviewer who says this isn't a very well-organized sticker book, but it hasn't bothered my son at all. I think older kids and definitely adults looking for more immediate sticker gratification might mind.

I was even thinking of buying the same sticker book when this one's done, but now that I'm beginning to be aware of the multitude of sticker books available, I'll probably try another Priddy sticker book. This one's been pretty awesome though, for a 2.5-3-year-old.
