This is a very good book. The PLANET BUILDERS series is very good. In this book, Sean, Arkady, Will, Zach, Clea, Daphne, Philippa, and Noriko share another adventure. It's Philippa's birthday, and she's turning 17. Her parents tell her that they are sending her to a very ritzy school for the Problem Daughters of the Elite. After a fight with her parents and her boyfriend, Arkady (concerning a long-dead boyfriend), she decides to head off to help build Elenna, a city being built in the trees. Something is menacing the city. When Arkady comes to talk to her, they join forces to defend Elenna. Philippa slips into a coma, and figures out that the amies (the monsters), are tied into the current (the mental bond the 8 teens share thanks to a sentient species called quufers). When the story ends, Philippa and Arkady have resolved their problems, and Philippa will bacome a ward of the Planning Committee. Her special group of guardians consists of Dr. Ives, Dr. Yamoto, and Dr. Kovitch. All in all, I think this book deserves infinity. An EXCELLENT BOOK!!!!!!!!!
