A sequel to The Giants' Farm - which was sweet, funny, and totally enjoyable for 3-year-olds and adults alike.
The sequel, in which the five unlikely but lovable giants go on a camping trip, is not nearly as engrossing. My grandchildren love the original giant book wholeheartedly, asking to have it read over and over, and frequently acting out the roles. They will smile affectionately at the camping story because it's about "their" giants, but it doesn't inspire the same enthusiasm. |
