great espresso set
The product came wonderfully packaged, with the note that if necessary it could be returned to the local store--nice feature. The cups and saucers are just adorable, the right small size and the colors bright and inviting.

very disappointed
The espresso set is supposed to be 4 oz. cups. Sadly, the cups are 3 oz., and that's filled to the brim. I was looking for 4 to 6 oz. cups for my espresso, and this set looked great with all the colors, however, it's not the stated 4 oz. (on the package), and that isn't what I ordered. This was a birthday present and gift wrap was payed for, but it wasn't gift wrapped...

I wanted to give my little cousins a teaset and some children's tea for Christmas, but when I looked at all the teasets for kids, they were so tiny that none of them were really functional. I decided to get these cups since they're smaller than typical teacups but still hold a fairly substantial amount of liquid. Plus, since they're multicolored, it's easy to find a small teapot to match. I was very pleased with my purchase.

We have a set of traditional espresso cups, but I usually choose these to use, because of their cheerful colors. The cups comfortably hold a double espresso. This set also is enjoyed by visiting children for tea or cocoa.

I'm an ol'school coffee drinker originally from La Sierra in Spain. These cups reminded me of the cups in most of the coffee houses in Madrid. My grand mama also had a similar set which brings back memories of the very first time I took a sip. This is a great buy for the price even if you just use them as a display.
